Market & customer analytics
Most businesses know their total revenue and almost nothing about where it actually comes from. We break your market and your customer base down until the money has names: who buys, who stays, who left, what they're worth, and what to do about each group.
What we build
- RFM analysis: every customer scored on recency, frequency, and monetary value, then tiered into champions, loyalists, at-risk, and lost. The single fastest way to see the true shape of a customer base.
- Customer segmentation: K-Means and hierarchical clustering on real behavior, not demographic guesswork. Each segment gets a profile, a size, a value, and a recommended play.
- Customer lifetime value: what a customer is worth across the whole relationship, so acquisition spend and retention effort chase the right people.
- Cohort and retention analysis: each joining class tracked over time, showing exactly where customers fall away and whether your retention is improving or decaying.
- Market basket analysis: what sells together and what that means for bundles, placement, and cross-sell.
- Pricing and profitability studies: margin by product, customer, and channel, with financial models for pricing decisions and cost-saving initiatives.
- Market research and competitive analysis: industry trends, competitor performance, and growth opportunities, delivered as a written readout, not a data dump.
- Site selection analytics: statistical evaluation of where to open, close, or relocate, scored on demographics, traffic, competition, and cannibalization before capital is committed.
- Demand elasticity and pricing recommendations: how demand responds to price, measured, and turned into a pricing strategy you can defend.
- Win-back analysis: which lapsed customers are worth recovering, what offer brings them back, and which are gone for good reasons.
- Strategic analytics: a structured read of the whole business with the measured steps between where it stands and where you want it.
How we build it
- Define the commercial question. Grow share, lift retention, fix margin: the analysis is shaped by the decision, not the other way around.
- Assemble the transaction data. Sales records, CRM, billing, campaign history. We clean it and join it into one honest customer view.
- Score and segment. RFM tiers first for speed, clustering for depth. Every segment must be big enough to matter and distinct enough to act on.
- Value each segment. Lifetime value and margin per group, so the priorities rank themselves.
- Write the playbook. For each segment: what to offer, through which channel, and what it should cost. Plain language, ready for the sales and marketing team.
- Measure and refresh. Segments drift as the market moves. The analysis reruns on a schedule so it stays true.
Proof: commercial analytics for a regional telecom, spanning market research, competitor analysis, product profitability and pricing models, and daily KPI reporting for senior management. Customer segmentation with K-Means clustering that sharpened marketing strategy for consulting clients.
Who are your best customers, really?
If the honest answer is "we're not sure," that's a two-week analysis, not a mystery. Bring us your sales data and we'll show you the shape of your business.
